Our Florida Branding
The goal was a brand identity that reminds one of being a kid in the classroom, without looking too childish, as well as avoiding any suggestions of one political party or the other. Some initial inspirations were Schoolhouse Rock, and vintage state advertisements.
The logo was created through a series of analogue and digital processes (hand drawing, scanning, vectorizing).
Our Florida is a coalition of teachers, parents, and students working on the Protect Florida Classrooms Act. They work to fight book bans, support trans rights within the classroom, and host lectures all within Duvall County and the state of Florida.
